It is in the moments of questioning where we tend to lose faith and wonder if what we are trying to accomplish is the proper thing to do.
Our very first testimony comes from a woman who thought she wasn’t parenting the right way and who believed she couldn’t give her son what he needed as he grows older.
As a non-judgemental facility, Boro Women and Family Services strives to help parents make ends meet and advise in a healthy formality that will bring positive outcomes to those that are currently struggling with their daily lives as parents and families.
“You don’t know how much you helped me feel not like a complete mess up. And look at life [as] half full. So I don’t know how much I brightened your day, but I know how much in the short time we talked, you gave me a new outlook on life and myself making me a better mom for my son and for that I will forever be grateful. You were there for me when I felt I had no one and felt so alone on this amazing journey of parenthood! To this day I still feel you are the only person I have talked to that listened without judgement and [gave] genuine advice, and again, I’ll forever be grateful.”
We are here with you.
We will take your hand and pull you up to where you need to be in this world. There is no shame for where you are currently standing.
It is our job at BWS to help you take your next step…either with yourself or with your family.
Born and raised in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, Leslie is a 2016 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Her drive and passion to help others brought her to BWS the same year and she continues to use her creativity and hard work mentality to make sure families have what they need to become stable and healthy. When she’s not at the office, you can find her reading, scrapbooking, with her wonderful pit bull, Degan, or brainstorming her next big idea!
